Veterinarians
Our experienced team of Veterinarians,
headed by Dr. Clive Lamond, along with Dr. Mari Roberts, Dr. Angela
Hornaday and Dr. Jeneane Power have a wide range of special interests
and expertise allowing for a full range of surgical and medical
treatment options. We also provide all routine pet care needs including,
consultations, vaccinations, and routine surgery and dentistry.
Veterinary medicine and surgery is an
ever evolving field. For this reason our Veterinarians regularly attend
continuing education seminars and courses in order to be up to date with
the latest treatments and procedures to offer your pet.
Dr. Clive Lamond BVSc (Sydney) Principal Veterinarian
A graduate of prestigious Sydney
University in 1984, Clive has worked in rural practice and done locums
in 3 states prior to setting up this Clinic in 1990. He is a member of
the Australian Veterinary Association, and has worked within the
industry promoting ethics and community service.
Married to Katherine and with 4 young
children, he is committed to making this veterinary practice
an enjoyable place for families to visit. Clive was raised on a farm and
nurtured animals from a young age including infant kangaroos, pigs,
sheep ,cattle, horses, chicken, dogs and cats.
Clive works Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday and Friday mornings.
Dr. Jeneane Power BSc BVMS (Murdoch)
Having
always dreamed of being a vet, Jeneane completed a 2 year tafe degree
and worked as a veterinary nurse before completing her degree at Murdoch
University. After graduating in 1999 she spent the first year working
in the country. Moving back to the city enabled her to concentrate on
her passion working with small animals.
She is a caring and compassionate vet who
simply loves animals. You can rest assured that Jeneane will look after
your pets as if they were her own.
Married with three young boys, Jeneane has a German Shepherd called Kobe.
Jeneane works fortnightly Sundays.
Dr. Mari Roberts BSc BVMS (Murdoch)
Mari recently became a Vet after working as a Pharmacist for over 15 years. Her passion of caring for animals took sight.
She loves taking care of dogs and cats
and giving them a quality life. Mari and her husband have a private
rescue service in their home. They also have 2 pet house dogs called
Henry and Gilbert.
Mari’s special interest is in taking care
of geriatric animals. ”I want to give the very best service to all
animals that come to see me for treatments”.
Mari works Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
mornings and evenings. Saturdays and fortnightly Sundays. Mari is fluent
in language Japanese.
Dr. Angela Hornaday BSc BVMS (Murdoch)
Angela originally from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, moved to Perth in 2006 to go to vet school and graduated in 2010.
Angela wanted to be a vet since she was
in the 8th grade and was in a club called ‘Future Vets’ where they
looked after different animals over lunchtime. She looked after a
hedgehog named ‘Sonic’ who was anything but.
Angela’s main interests are dermatology
and basic soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. Angela also has some
interest in treating exotic pets.
Angela has two cats at home named ‘Jak’ and ‘Daxter’ and has recently acquired a chihuahua puppy named ‘Butters’.
Angela has also recently attained Australian citizenship. Angela works Thursday and Friday mornings and evenings.
